This is a compilation of two hikes I did, leaving from the First Water trailhead (left-center on the map) of the Superstition Wilderness. This is an easy trail head to get to (unless there’s a rodeo going on in Apache Junction), and leads to many trails. I prefer hikes less than 15 miles, so I created two loops that left from the trail head. The first was to go up Second Water (236) to Black Mesa (241), then back on Lost Dutchman (104). This was about 9 miles. The other was heading up Lost Dutchman to Boulder Canyon (103) and then back on Second Water. That was about 11 miles, but had a higher degree of difficulty. I arranged the photos by trail.
