This started looking pretty similar to the scenary on the Mountain Pass Trail
The overcast sky contributed to me heading in the wrong direction. That's the story I'm sticking to.
You have to cut through this ravine in just the right spot to get to the Mountain Pass Trail.
The path the wrong way was wide and easy. Once fully lost, I stopped taking photos and concentrated on getting back to my car.
Not really getting in enough hiking that day, I decided to see if I could go on the little peak I always see right off of 202 and Brown
From the top of Spook Hill, I looked at my failed earlier target, Usery Mountain Recreation Area, and then down at my car.
