Meanwhile, in a place that could be far away (How would I know? I stopped asking for home fields years ago.), Toilet Trainers had a seemingly safe 21 point lead with the Cowboys Defense yet to play. GerfluchtWeasels had the previously under-performing Giant’s Defense and Eli Manning to try to mount the unlikely comeback. Things went as expected with Manning having a pretty decent game, but not enough. Late in the fourth quarter, the Trains were leading by six when disaster struck. Cowboy, Tony Romo(‘s ribs), looked to be on his way to a touchdown, when he was picked off and then watched Kevin Dockery return the interception 96 yards for the game winning touchdown.

Ebonic Plague had a 15-point lead going into Monday night, with no one left playing (this was the 2006 Cowboys and Giants after all). Chicken Pluckers had all their eggs in the Cowboy Passing Game basket, with Bledsoe, Glenn, and Owens all getting the start. Bledsoe looked terrible and was finally benched, leaving the Ebs still holding an 8-point lead with Romo at the controls. He connected with Owens for a touchdown, but it still wasn’t enough. However, during the last two desperate Cowboy drives, Owens was the primary recipient getting the final bonus point he needed for the Chicks to take the win.

In one final bit of drama, the undermanned Roughed-Up Suspects took a one-point lead in the fourth quarter when a small completion to the early-touchdown-scoring, Plaxico Burress, gave him another bonus point. Tazed and Confused, still had Julius Jones on the field, but he was struggling. His one bonus point was from a 25-yard reception and he had been getting stuffed at the line. The chipping away worked, as he finally went over 25 yards rushing, letting the Cons escape with a tie.
