At one of the early Wolfe reunions, Joel invited us to stay in their “cabin”, the guest area in his and Maggie’s beautiful home near Port Angeles. Finally in 2017, Steph and I were able to go there. It was a great way to get to know each other, and the area was so beautiful and cool-hiking-trail rich that I was wishing I had more than the three days.

Many of those are on my Olympic National Forest photo pages, but I pulled these rare ones where I got Joel in front of the camera (due more to my bad photography habits than him avoiding the camera).
