This trail has an easily accessible trailhead just within Flagstaff proper. Fatman’s Loop (not to be confused with the trail of the same name in Madera Canyon) is a scenic loop that is relatively challenging. The trail to the Mt Eldin Lookout branches off the loop. It gets very steep and challenging.
