I am fortunate enough to be able to see some mountains from my back yard. The main one I see has a few towers on it a distinctive little peak. I’ve hiked up by the tower, but have never tried getting to the “summit”. On this day, I decided that was what I was going to do.

On the trail leading up to the tower is a memorial for a fallen lineman and a bench. A nice little rest stop before the trail gets steeper and more slippery.
