Boulder Canyon to LaBarge Canyon, December 11, 2015 - Staying in the Superstitions, I thought I’d try another one that was a relatively short drive from my house, The Boulder Canyon to LaBarge Canyon Trail / Scramble. The trailhead is right at the Canyon Lake marina area. I had not taken the Apache Trail much past the Lost Dutchmen State Park entrance, so those 8 miles of driving were quite interesting. It was very twisty, with nice scenery. Of course I couldn’t look at the scenery too intently and drive at the same time. Maybe I can be a passenger next time.
