The First Grand Canyon Hike, down to the river and back

After making it through Devils’ Corkscrew and through some unseasonably lush foilage, we arrived at Indian Gardens. It seems like it was a pretty tough climb to get to that point, so mocking the warning sign seemed appropriate. The forecast was for 90s and sunny, but luckily they were wrong, and it actually looked like we may be in a thunderstorm.

As it turns out, the toughest part is the last 4.5 miles. There are frequent water stations, which is nice, but it get progressively steeper as you go towards the top.
