The First Grand Canyon Hike, down to the river and back

Descending was much more difficult than I thought it would be. Between the timbers going across the trails at irregular intervals and all the mule poop, you really had to concentrate on your foot placement, and you couldn’t really take normal length strides most of the time.

Despite having to come to a stop to safely enjoy the view, this part was quite enjoyable. After getting past Ooh Aah Point, you go past the aptly named, Cedar Ridge Point, past Skeleton Point and Panorama Point, with many switchbacks as you get closer to the river.
