Around 300 riders signed up to race and were (finally) treated to day
that did not include cold, hard rain, or severe wind. Quite a bit of
rain fell on the Saturday before the race, but was absorbed by the
sandy soil. The mostly overcast skies kept the track in excellent
condition through out the day and did not produce any rain until the
end of the second set of motos. Both sets of motos ran their full
length and the races still ended relatively early. With two other
races running on the same day, some of the bike classes were a bit
thin on entries, but the Quad classes, particularly Quad Open, were
well represented.
There were no triple winners, but there were many double winners.
Riders in the two class win club were Bruce Dehn in 85cc 9-12 and
85cc 12-15, Rick Smith in 16-24 A and 250 A, Jeremy Schmidt in 25+ A
and 125 A, John Dehn in Youth and 125 B, Francis Halley in 16-24 B
and 250 B, Daniel Holmes in 16-24 C and 250 C, and Craig Cherrington
in Quad Open and Quad Vet.
