The Straight Arrow Enduro Riders hosted the first premier race of the
year at Grantsburg Motocross Track. Despite temps only getting into
the 40s and a (correct) forecast for rain, around 550 riders signed up
to do battle on the sandy track. The rain started about halfway through
the first set of motos and would not stop, resulting in the cancellation
of the second set of motos.
Tucker Hibbert was the only triple winner of the day, winning the two
crowded premier classes, 125A and 250A, and also 16-24A. Double class
winners were Bruce Gates in 25+ A and 30+ A, Jesse Goskey in 85 12-15
and Super Mini, Daniel Holmes in 16-24 C and 250 C, and Jeff Gravers in
25+ C and 30+ C.
