Brent Stevensen got his season off to a great start, taking overall wins in 125 A,
250 A, and Vet A. 233 riders signed up to do battle on the muddy track. With the sun
making occasional appearances and temps in the 50s, the track dried out nicely, although
the pits stayed a muddy mess. The Yamaha mounted Stevensen was the only rider to win three
classes, but several other riders won two classes, including Bruce Dehn in the 80cc 9-12
and 80cc 12-15 classes, John Dehn in the Youth and 125 B classes, Andy Vig in the 16-24 B
and 250 B classes, and Eric Hughes in the 16-24C and 250 C classes.
